Pont du Gard
An ancient monument classified by UNESCO in 1985, the Pont du Gard is one of the greatest masterpiece of humanity. A genuine technical feat, it stands 48 metres high, and building began in the first century B.C. with the aim of transporting water from the Eure springs near Uzès.
